The Pluto API lets you create runs, log metrics, manage tags and notes, query experiment data, and more — all programmatically.

Base URL

Authentication

All endpoints require a Bearer token. Pass your API key in the Authorization header:
You can generate an API key from the Pluto dashboard under Settings.

OpenAPI Specification

The full OpenAPI spec is available at /api/openapi.json. You can use it with any OpenAPI-compatible tool or code generator.

Interactive API Docs

Try out endpoints directly in the Swagger UI
The interactive docs require you to be signed in to Pluto. On load, the page creates a temporary API key for your organization and fills it in, so Try it out works right away and the curl it prints runs as-is. The key:
  • expires after 60 minutes, and opening the page again replaces it;
  • appears in your organization’s API key list as Swagger UI (temporary);
  • can be revoked from the page at any time.
A switcher at the top of the page also shows the internal API that the Pluto web app itself calls. That API accepts only a signed-in browser session, not API keys, and can change without notice, so build integrations on the REST endpoints above.
